Shade sat down and started to eat when his meal was served up. "Where's uncle Mori?" Rhun asked, shoving a spoonful of food into his mouth.

"Moving into his own place. Just eat." Elizabeth said.

"Uncle Mori was mean to Mummy." Evelyn whispered to her brother. "Like Daddy was that time, only Mummy didn't cry as much this time and Daddy's still allowed to live with us."

"Oh." Rhun frowned and whispered back. "But uncle Mori can't cook."
"Do as your mother says." Shade said, interrupting. "Less talk, more eating, you're up late."

Once they were all donw with their meals, Shade thanked Elizabeth and cleared the table. "Go on, bed." He said to the two kids.

"Awww!" Evelyn whined. "But I wanted to play with my dolls a bit more."

"Bed." Elizabeth said, kissing her daughters head. "Now." Evelyn pouted and stuck her tongue out but complied.

Elizabeth looked to rhun. "You too young man."

"Yes mum." He said and grabbed his toy sword from the table before leaving to his room.

"Demon slayer?" Shade chuckled. "I think leaving the village is going to prove problematic."
