"We have to get out of here" He whispered, tears still streaming down his cheeks. He rose his unharmed arm to cover his eyes, hurt and shamed by how he'd coped under interrogation, dashing at his tears.

Shade clung to his bars. "Is he okay?" He questioned sharply, gaining an icy glare from the guard outside his cell door.

"Stop these tears." Elizabeth whispered, stroking the side of his face gently. "No-one will harm you while your in my arms. I swear to you."
At that moment, Elizabeth never felt she spoke truer words.

"Does he look Ok?" Amaterasu snapped at Shade

"I didn't just mean emotionally you dolt! You can get worse than bruises." He snapped back.

Taro closed his eyes tightly, shame and pain roiling in the pit of his stomach. He lowered his hand from his face and instead took a gentle grip on Elizabeth's arm. "Taro" He said softly, "It's Taro." Bruises were starting to colour his unnaturally pale skin, left eye blackened.

"Taro." Elizabeth smiled softly, her gaze never fulting from his eyes. "Such a beautiful name. You do the name justice."

Amaterasu just gave him a look. "I remain by my first statment."

"Blathering idiot" He muttered to himself, not really mad at her, but the entire situation. Shade was never one for controlling his irritation.

A smile played around the corners of his mouth, tears slowing now he knew he was safe. It was a foolish thing, he thought, to rely on one just as defenceless as him, but he was a fool; it was in his abilities.

He murmured something to Elizabeth but it was too quiet for her to hear. A second later he was asleep, hand dropping to his side.

"Old Prat." Amaterasu snapped.

Elizabeth stayed by his side, humming softly in a calming way in order for him to stay alseep.

"Impudent youth" He sniffed irritably, folding his arms across his chest and settled down against the bars, looking out of his cell.

Sadaharu was moving his hands across the bricks at the back of his cell. He hoped, how he hoped, that he was in the right one. They wouldn't be able to get out until Yuki had a chance, but in the meantime, which there was plently of, he wanted to see if it was accessible from the inside. So far no luck.

"Withered creature." Amaterasu retorted before standing up. "Hey guard! I need to do Busniess."

The guard grimaced, moving to unlock her cell. Shade scowled and crossed his arms tightly, not giving into the temptation of fighting for the last word. The guard opened the door and stepped back for her to walk out, hand on the knife at his waist. "No heroics" He warned, guesturing ahead of him.

Amaterasu just looked at the guard. "What if I promise to be nice?" She teased.

April entered Etsuko's room the same time the next day.

"Then I'll be suspicious" He said, unruffled, and jabbed his hand down the corridor. "Move."

Amaterasu moved

Apri sat down. "Good morning Etsuko."

"What do you want today?" Etsuko asked irritably. She was lying on her back on her bed, twisting a stand of hair around her finger and watching the roof with apparent interest.

The guard escorted her to the chamber and then stood by the door. "Make it quick."

"I brought your doll with me, don't you miss it?" April asked.

"Not gonna watch." Amaterasu teased before finishing her busniess.

"Yes" She said blankly, holding out a hand for the doll without turning to look at April. Etsuko's mood had taken another drastic swing. "Where's Satori?"

He rose an eyebrow before teasing back. "Have you seen your reflection lately?"

April handed the doll to the girl. "Would you like to talk to her?"

"What? Not into that? I would have thought thats why you became a guard." Amaterasu said, looking around the room for anything for use.

"Yes." She said simply, frowning as she examined the doll.

"Sorry to disapoint." He said dryly. "Are you quite finished?"

"What would you say to her if she was here?" April asked.

"I'm a lady." Amaterasu said slowly. "I have lady busniess to atend to."

"I didn't ask for details!" He said irritably, leaning back against the wall and prodding his forehead.

"Nothing, until you were gone" She said, eyes snapping over to look at April. "What are you doing? Are you spying on me for someone? For the DPA?"

"Did I give you details?!" Amaterasu snapped. "Reckon I could get a shower at all?" She asked, finding a lose bucket handle and shoving it into her shirt

"What reason would I have for spying on you?" April asked. "Your my bestfriend. I'd never get you in trouble."

He shook his head to himself. "No. Get a move on." He said. "I don't want to come in there, but I will if you don't speed things up a little" He said gruffly, crossing his arms.

Etsuko opened her mouth to argue before sighing and rolling over to stare at the wall. "I know what you're doing." She said sulkily. "You won't even let me talk to my parents. When they find out where I am..."

"All Ready." Amatersu smiled, stepping out.

"Etsuko. Do you remember what happened?" April asked.

He nodded and walked her back to her cell, holding the door open for her with a small smirk.

"You didn't like my game... so..." She paused and frowned, biting her thumbnail.

As she walked back Sadaharus cell, she threw out of the guards sight, half the handle into his cell.
"Thank you." Amaterasu smiled and ruffled his hair before stepping inside.

"No, with your parents." April said.

She remained in thought, that was the issue she had come across. Suddenly her eyes widened and she sat bolt upright. "Dead!" She cried, twisting her hair visciously.

Sadaharu quickly concealed the handle, moving to the back of his cell. The guard grimaced and shut her cell door, turning the key and striding away.
