When they emerged into the gardens, Shade immediately spotted the foreigner. He walked straight over, looking more alive than he had for quite a time. "Name's Shade" He said as he approached the man, extending a hand. "I'll be accompanying the princess" He said, nice and straightforwards but in a quiet voice.

Taro looked up as Shade moved forwards and eased himself up to move closer when the soft words evaded his ears.

"Aha... "Yuki said slowly as he took a hand. "You the princess Promised or..." he left room for correction.
Elizabreth blushed

"Ha! No. In fact, she's my apprentice" He said and stopped, not elaborating. "Shall we go?" He asked.

"Yes we shall go." Yuki grinned. "Know any good ships about?"

"Depends on the... buisness of the men on the ships" He said, smiling secretively. "Depending on that, we'll see. Also, which direction will we be headed in?"

"East I believe, to Japan."

Shade's eyes widened for a fraction of a second. "Ah... Well, in that case, I may be able to call on an old friend" He said, reassesing the man before him.

"A long way to travel for a flight of fancy" He said as they walked now towards the docks, Shade having shown them a secret way out without passing the guards.

Yuki gave a small laugh. "Love how its presumed its for Flight of fancy."
"Your from there arnt you." Elizabeth butted in. Yuki spun and clicked at her.
"Thats right." He smirked. "I am."

"I knew you weren't a Lord, Yuki dearest!" The fool said suddenly from behind them, moving forwards with a grin of amusement. He was walking stiffly now, not taking up his normal antics.

"And I knew you wouldn't stay put." Yuki said.
Elizabeth grew worried. "You should get back to the castle or it would be worse than a few hits around for you fool."

"If they catch me" He pointed out cheerfully. "I don't think they're well disposed to me at the moment" He added, "going back isn't in my priorities, I'm growing tired of their impolite rituals of greeting me."

Elizabeth bit her lip in Worry but Yuki blew them both off. "Which boat..."

Shade pointed out the best decked out boat currently at the dock. "The captain owes me some more than serious favours. The crew, too, is familier with me." he said and motioned for them to wait outside the ship as he exchanged some words with the sentry.
"Hes inside eh'?" shade grinned. "tell him rufus blint wants to talk to him."

Within minutes they had all been shown inside by thoroughly disgruntled sailors.

Elizabeth couldn't stop smiling, however she had dressed like a man to enter this boat.

"what happened to you?" one snorted at taro in passing.
"I walked into a series of doors." he said with a wry smile. The man muttered something incomprehensible and walked away.

"how soon?" the captain asked uneasily. Shade shrugged his shoulders. "as soon as possible" he said, but there was an order in his voice. "we have the supplies for about half the journey at most."

Yuki smiled slightly as Elizabeth tried to be a man

"I suppose we can make port on the way!" he said quickly at shade's expression. "it's settled then!" shade said heartily, standing up. "leave as soon as your crew is ready... I trust there will be no trouble?" "no trouble" the slighted captain sighed. "okay! Show us the guest rooms!"

Soon captain Roberts had shown them to the poorly furnished but servicable room they would bunk in. It had a seperate room attatched, which shade alloyed to Elizabeth. The fool was quick to claim the hammock nearest to the roof.

Elizabeth walked off to her room, leaving behind a fuming Yuki who wanted the bed the fool took.

Shade took the hammock closest the the enterance to Elizabeth's room. Not taking any chances. Sitting up on his hammock, the kings fool smiled simperingly at yuki. "poor yuki!" he exclaimed happily. the boat lurched suddenly as it left the dock, nearly throwing the fool to the floor.

Yuki sat on the floor and sulked.

While in her own room, Elizabeth was huming a huanting tune as she let her hair out.

The fool wove absently at the hammock to his right. "Come on now, I'm sure the quiality doesn't differ that drastically" He said, having found a way to cling easily onto the makeshift bedding.
"In fact, I've always found that sleeping closer to the floor was better for seasickness" 'Rufus' added with a smirk up at the fool.

"Ah, fear not, impeccable balance helps!" He said, waving his scepter mock threateningly at the poisoner.

Yuki pressed up at the centre of the fools hammock.
Elizabeth walked out and for the first time, her hair was done and she wore a night dress. She bit her lip and sat on the floor. "Whats Japan like?"
STicking his tongue out at the fool, Yuki then procedded to kneal infront of the girl and explain what his home country was like.

Taro managed to lightly descend from his suspended bedding and sat crosslegged against the walls of the ship to listen absently. Shade went through his bag as Yuki spoke, rearranging his posessions into some form of order.
