"OH! Okay, sorry you had me worried for a minute there. You don't happen to know where they were headed?"

"Please, can you just leave?" Elizabeth asked. "All these questions are making me uneasy."

Hikaru sighed "I'm sorry, we'd just really like to find them. I promise you that we mean neither them or you any harm.
I just want to find them and would be grateful if you could help."

"I'm sorry." Elizabeth whispered before walking back into the house.

Kuroi muttered something under his breath and Hikaru hit him
"be nice!"

he scowled
"Fat lot of good that did! What have we gained from this? 'They're not here' Brilliant! like we didn't already know that!"

"Oh shut up already! I don't wanna get chased out of town again because your in a bad mood!"

Mentaro woke with a start. This was not his home, this was not his bed. He freaked out.
Standing quickly he peeked outside the door, only to be faced with a small child. He screamed.
She screamed.

mentaro ran from the house.

"Gah!" Hikaru screamed as a less-than-stable cat demon ran out of the house

Kuroi grabbed Mentaro by the scruff of his neck and held him off the ground
"-the hell?!!"

Momiji laughed

"GO, go! Let me go!" Mentaro struggled.

Hikaru's eyes narrowed "YOU! What are you doing here?!!"

"Let me go!" Mentaro continued to struggle.

"No," said Kuroi "Who the hell is this nut?"

Hikaru scowled "we have a history"
Momiji giggled, funny cat

Hikaru put her down "go play sweetie"
Momiji wandered off to see if the village children would play with her

"Small child!" mentaro called. "Help! Help! GAH!" He gasped, gripping the hand holding him down.

Momiji giggled and ran off

Kuroi gave Mentaro a shake for good measure

"Hey, hey, hey, hey." mentaro scowled, pushing the hand off him and standing up right.

Hikaru glared at him "I will repeat, What the Hell are you doing here?!!"

"The rat knocked me out!" Mentaro yelled. "Then ran off. But he wont find them all, Oh no. Five peices of Three." He giggled.

She sighed, "Okay... Lets try to go for words that make sence and we'll work on the incoherance later.
What. are. you. taking. about?"

"I aint tellingg you." mentaro pointed to Hikaru. "Or you." he pointed to the bird man. "Cause I. Don't. Like. You."

Kuroi cracked his knuckles but hikaru held up a hand
"Don't bother. Doesn't work, tryed it last time and the bastard sucked me into my worst nightmare."
she glared at the cat

"Well now what?!"

"I run, that way!" Mentaro broke free of any restraints and ran.

Hikaru ran after him "Oh no you don't!"
Kuroi close behind her wondering if this day could get any worse

"They don't want you! If they did they would have found you! Now let me leave!" Mentaro picked up speed and ran into the trees and out of sight.

Hikaru stopped "Son-of-a-bitch! Like I care about that crap. Well what can you expect form a madman"

"I'll go after him" kuroi went to flly off but Hikaru stopped him
"let the bastard run. with anyluck he'll fall off a cliff or something"
she started walking back to the village

Sitting outside the former entrance of the great mountain cavern, Anei petted the human who was lying on her legs, Saiyu was fast asleep after days of travelling, and by unamonious vote they had decided to rest outside their former home.

Kietsu was in his bear form working as a very comfortable backrest and was rumbling softly in his sleep, making Anei in turn feel quite tired.
Zetsubou was down on the banks of the river staring at different objects in turn, after a while he turned to look at Anei.

"Yuki dug this..."

'And there's the explanations for todays bought of angst' Anei thought with a wry grin, as she remembered the days surrounding the river being dug.

'damned Yuki walked in on me getting changed!'

menny kept running, mumbling about having to escape crazed demons who wee after him. If he kep running he'd be safe. At least his three, or rather five things were again safe. he kept running.
