Kaoru sat down next to her again
"We should visit them. once you and Naoki are up to it.
its been too long and they'd love to meet their new brother"

"I highly doubt they'd accept you." Ayama muttered, speaking to Kaoru but looking to Naoki. "but I do miss them, but they don't want to see me. I'd bet everything I have on it."

Kaoru took her hand
"It doesn't matter what they think of me. You are their mother, they still love you. I'm sure of it"

Ayama hummed again and looked up to him. "Here, take Naoki." She handed him the baby.

Kaoru lifted Naoki up
"Hey little man! Arn't you just the cutest thing!"
he said cuddling him

Naoki just blinked.

Ayama looked away and yawned.

Kaoru looked over at Ayama
"I don't think he likes me." he said, half joking half worried

"kaoru. He's a new born." Ayama said, looking back to him. "All he knows is to cry and sleep, and feed."

Kaoru pouted but still smiling
"He loves you"

"I feed him." Ayama rose an eyebrow.

Kaoru looked at her strange
"feed him what?"

"Breast milk." Ayama said. "What, didn't you ever learn this?"

Kaoru laughed
"I've never been a father before, I have neices but my sister in law takes care of all the hard stuff. I just play with them when i visit. so you could say my education is lacking in this area"

"You sucked on your mothers breast when you were a child, and so will ours. Its how they feed in the younnger stages of life." Ayama said, still not believing he didn't know.

"Well Hikaru and I were hand fed. Mother was too busy with affairs of state and teaching Tatsuo to run the country to do any of that stuff with us. She didn't really want much to do with us"

Ayama gave him a sympathetic look and ran her hand down the side of his face. "Well someone wants you." She looked to Naoki and smiled softly.

"Thankyou Aya. Our Naoki will have a much better childhood, the best we can give him. And he'll grow up to be brave and strong, just like his mother."
he kissed her with a smile

"Brave? Me?" Ayama rose an eyebrow. "Only the weak willed hide away and cut their wings, dear Kaoru. Only those who are of weak willed lay about day after day, hiding from their deformities."

Kaoru held her face in his hands
"Whose hiding? I assure you that you are the most beautiful thing in this world.
You have nothing to hide. Although it is to my advantage to keep you from the world, so as no one steals you away from me. I am so lucky to have you Aya."

"You didn't even want me in the start." Ayama said, simply looking at him. "but I thank you for your kind lies and hidden words." She sat up.

Kaoru frowned
"What are you talking about?"

"Nothing my love." Ayama smiled and ran her hand across his cheek. "Just the ramblings of a women fresh out of child birth."

Kaoru still looked conserned
"Never doubt that I love you Aya, I always have and I always will. I speak only the truth."

"Always have? Dear kaoru, now that is a lie." Ayama said seriously.

"When? I don't understand"
