Hikaru moved forward and hugged Mori before he could protest
"I'm sorry. This must be hard. we... heard what happened"

Mori blinked at her, arms stiffly by his side. "Just trying to track her down is proving impossible." He said quickly and awkwardly patted her back before stepping back. ""We're headed north. That's where she lost us" He said and scratched the back of his head. "Oh, Yuki, he's awake" He added, realizing she wouldn't know about that.

"You weren't in the dungeons" Taro said with a smile at Takeo. "Can't imagine why you missed the gathering, seemed to be quite the social get-together."

Yuki nodded. "Than get some sleep." He whispered. "I'll be here when you wake up."

Scuffing the dirt angrilly under his feet, Saiyu muttered a few choice words under his breath. Eventually he just sighed and stared sullenly at the sky.

"Mentaro isn't the one i'm mad at" Plucking up his slightly crushed dignity he ran after the cat demon calling his name.

"Oi Mentaro!! Wait up!!"

Mentaro let out a cry. No, no children. No children.

He ran up a tree and hid, not making a single sound.

Wandering to where he thought he saw the cat disapear to, Saiyu paused and scratched his head right under Mentaro's hiding place.

"Now where could he have gone?" He wondered out loud, before suddenly having a thought, Where does Mentaro always go when he freaks out!?

"UP A TREE!" Saiyu suddenly exclaimed whilst looking straight up.

"Shhh!" Mentaro hissed, jumping down to glare at the boy. He stood to his full height and puffed his chest out. "I was hiding! You don't shout at people who are hiding. Try again."
Mentaro jumped back into a tree.

Sadaharu nodded and tried to calm the unease stealing over him. He closed his eyes and took a slow breath. Regardless of his racing mind, he soon fell asleep. The exaustion of keeping careful watch on Yuki finally catching up to him again.

Yuki smiled softly down at the boy as he slid from the bed. He found his clothes which had been carelessly discarded.
Should have been more careful there.

He silently got dressed and lay back down in the bed, wathcing the boy beside him sleep.

Staring at the demon in bewilderment, Saiyu just grinned, "Well...hmmm, I wonder where Mentaro could be....Maybe..." He glanced up to stare at the older demon, "FOUND YOU, YOU LOST AND NOW YOUR IT!!" Three years spent with the man, and a before that a further 3 years with crazy Zet had taught him a little about crazy people, although sometimes even things you thought would work would fail, here's hoping Mentaro was in a playful-crazy mood, not a sulking-crazy mood.

"Wrong! Your still It!" Mentaro exclaimed, taking to a run as he bolted through thee trees.

Hikaru's eyes lit up at the mention of her nephew
but she stayed on topic
"Well she is your daughter. do you even know how annoying you are to track?"
she laughed
"If your not too adverse to the notion, we'll come too. Can't hurt to have a bit more manpower for the search."

Takeo grinned
"Nah, not really my scene, bein' not of 'noble blood' an all
plus i was cooped up in the Fushimi Inari Shrine"
he tugged on one of his ears
"I'm a white Kitsune, so I have to guard the shrine. but the priest lifestyle was never my thing"

Hotaru smiled softly as she hid behind the many sheets she had just watched. She felt like a young girl again. A young girl in love and she loved the feeling.

Kaoru appaered and hugged her from behind kissing her cheek

Hotaru gave a small smile and rested back against his form. "I was wondering when you'd find me."

He smiled and hugged her tighter
"I don't like it when your not here. I enjoy your company too much"
he laughed

Hotaru turned and poked him in the nose. "Its called chasy. Catch me, and I'll givve you whatever you ask for."
With a small smile, Hotaru slid from his arms and moved off into the white forest of sheets and clothes to hide again/

Kaoru grinned and gave her a few minutes head start...

soon enough he crept up on the woman from behind a large sheet
"Gotcha!"
he pulled her into another hug
"I win!" he crowed happily

Hotaru smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I should call you out for cheating. Since your a demon."

he smirked
"you should have clarified that before, I still win unfair advantage or no"
he kissed her lightly
he stared off into the distance with an exaggerated look of smuggness on his face
"Its not my fault I'm so awesome"

"Don't get a big head." She gave his chest a light punch before sighing. "So, what do you choose for your reward?"

"hmm, I don't know. I have everthing i want right here."
he touched her cheek lightly

She smiiled softly, a look of bashfulness taking over her whole being. She met his eyes shyly. "Your so cheesy."

"I know, its terrible. but that doesn't mean its not true"
he kissed her forhead

"You should get home." Hotaru whispered, holding his arms. "Its getting late."
