Elizabeth walked up to him, Rhun on her hip. "How is she?"

"Hopefully sleeping. I'm sure it's a poison now." He said and smiled slightly as Rhun tried to smother a yawn. "I think she'll pull through it if I can get this right."

"Did you hear that baby?" Elizabeth cooed, boucning Rhun slightly. "Daddy's a very smart man."

"So Eve'll be okay?" He asked hopefully, rubbing his eyes and looking up at Shade.
"She'll be fine, don't you worry." The man said with a grin, ruffling Rhun's hair.
"I don't like playing without her." Rhun said somberly. "Taro-Daddy's not playing and there's nothing to do outside without her." He finished, clinging onto Elizabeth.
"She'll be right as rain soon." Shade said, walking past towards the kitchen. "Elizabeth, don't drink any water unless it's from the stream, or has been boiled, don't accept any food unless it's what we've grown. It's good we know what it is, but it's bad considering." He said.

"Of course." Elizabeth nodded, smiling to Shade. She walked Rhun to his bedroom.

Shade sat down at the table opposite Taro and rested his chin on the palm of his hand, elbow on the table. "She'll be okay?"
"I think so." Shade said, looking over to the blonde.

He still didn't like Taro; there was something about him that he just couldn't put his finger on. He wasn't right. But Elizabeth didn't mind him, so they had a set list of mannerisms towards one another to make it a bit easier to get along. He just made Shade mad for whatever reason. He had considered that it was because Taro was there when he wasn't, but thinking on it for too long made him irritable. His house, his kids. He didn't see why this guy was still hanging around.

"...Want me to repeat that?"
"Huh?" Shade realized he hadn't been listening.
"I said; I might go and catch some sleep, if it looks like she's out of danger." Taro said, rising from the chair. Shade nodded, but didn't bother responding as Taro walked off.

Rhun curled up in his blankets and yawned. "When can Eve come outside again?"

"Soon baby." Elizabeth said, sitting herself down on her sons bed as she tucked him in. "Now go to sleep." She pinchd his cheek.

Rhun made a face and rubbed his cheek. "Ma!" He grumbled but was trying to conceal a grin. He yawned again and closed his eyes, taking a fistful of blanket and rolling over, successfully cocooning himself. He was soon asleep.

Elizabeth hummed softly and stroked her sons hair gently. He was such a good boyshe was proud of the fact he didn't get jealous over the attention they were giving Evelyn. He really was a good boy.

"Sleep well baby." She whispered, kissing the top of his head. She stood and left the room.

"Evening." Shade said, raising an eyebrow. What a mad day. "At least we're getting somewhere." He said with a rogue smile. "My job actually came in usefeul."

"So it seems, who would have thought." Elizabeth said, kissing the Side of Shades neck as she drapped her arms over his shoulders and down his chest. "Hungry?"

Shade tilted his head to kiss her. "A little. What's on offer?" He grinned and shook his head.

"Well, from what I remember." She said, kissing him once again. "We have bread and cheese. I could search around for some meat, we may be lucky there."

"Anything would be good, just something to eat." He said, touching a hand to her cheek. "I think Rhun has gone through at least half of the bread, he has an incredible appetite."

"Thats because he has so much energy." Elizabeth said, sitting in the chair beside her love. "I've never seen a boy who can run as much as he does."

"Strange boy." Shade said with a chuckle, looking over to Elizabeth. She was so beautiful, he still found himself confused as to how they had ended up here, and that she had taken him back. He wouldn't have taken him back, but then again, he hoped never to be in that situation with himsself.

"I am going to say he takes after you." Elizabeth smiled softly.

Shade shook his head in bemusement. "Perhaps. Evelyn's more like you though, you have the same expression when you get angry." He said with a laugh. "And she can talk my head off- Not that I'm saying you talk too much." He amended quickly, grinning.

"Oh really?" Elizabeth smiled softly. "because I think thats what you were saying."

Shade scratched the back of his head, grinning ruefully. "No, no. I was simply referring to how... how brilliant you both are. Never run out of conveniant information to share." He smiled.

Elizabeth looked at him closely before standing up and placing the loaf of bread infront of him. "Enjoy." She went to walk away.

Shade rose an eyebrow. "That didn't actually make you angry did it? I was just messing around." He prodded the bread. She was pregnant, that did mean mood swings, but he wasn't there last time, so he wasn't sure how they'd rank.

Elizabeth wove her hand at him. She looked back over her shoulder. "It would take more then that to make me mad."

"Okay, okay." He said, smiling and slicing up the bread.

Elizabeth looked over to Evelyns room. She really hopes Shade was right about this...

She went into her room.
