Taro startled at her voice, head jerking up and eyes snapping over to his face. he smiled. "Quite well, in the space of time I was asleep, that is." He said smugly. "And you?"

Shade nodded. Two more fish to feed the five of them.

"Wishing for a comfy bed, but Shade wasn't too bad in that department." She smirked.

Amaterasu beamed and handed him the spear. "Go fish." She said.

Shade grinned and spun the spear in his hands, heading to the water. He was a little out of practice and it took him about two shots to again become used to it. On his third shot, he managed to spear a fish. He grinned. His next shot also hit it's mark.

Shade had taken command of the fish, parting them of their scales before stringing them together. Pretty soon they were heading back up towards the cave.

Taro smiled and waggled his eyebrows at Elizabeth. "Is that so?" He laughed merrily. "About time he found a more fitting job."

Yuni sighed and curled up into a tight ball in the moving shade of the tree she had slept under.
"No... No. Too early." She grumbled, pulling a wide sleeve over her face to shield away the light that sought to wake her. It wouldn't win without a fight. She may be awake, but until she was happy with the idea, she was not moving.

Amaterasu smiled at him and stuck her thumbs up, hoping he got she meant good job.

"What do you mean?" Elizabeth asked.

"Ah. I thought for a moment I was speaking clearly." He shook his head. "Grumpy one he is. Was. See, you made a difference!" He tapped his nose.

Shade understood, nodding and returning the guesture as they wandered up to the cave enterance.

Amaterasu put her hand on Shades chest to stop him. She felt her side of her sword and finding none looked to her back to find her bow, finding none.
She swore under her breath as a demon walked towards the cave.

Shade turned and froze. Horror restricted his movement as he observed the unnaturally freakish beast stalking towards them.

What is that?!

This was a word Amaterasu knew. "Demon." She whispered. "Bad Demon." She held him back. "Stay here, I'll go see..."

A demon?! What in hell's name was going on?! He stepped back, looking quite simply horrorstruck as his current surity of the thing before him warred with his logic. He took a step backwards. His knives. In the cave. His poisons. In the cave. His fists... That thing didn't look weak.

"Protecting anyone now will be usless." Amaterasu told him. "Stay calm and let me handle this."
She took a few steps forward and cracked her neck, her own body morphing gracfully, almost beautifully as she took on the form of a overly large kitty kat

To say the least, he was mortified. He staggered backwards in sheer shock, scrabbling for something, anything that could help. Help what, he wasn't sure anymore. This whole situation was turning upside down.

"Be calm." Came a heavily accented voice from behind the older man. A hand was placed on his shoulder. "If I know what I believe I do, this will be easy to handle."

Amaterasu ran after the demon as it entered the cave.
Elizabeth screamed

Shade rounded on the stranger suddenly behind him, face taught in both anger and panic. Never had a situation so quickly left his control before. At hearing Elizabeth's scream, he leapt free of the stranger and charged toeards the cave. What did it matter so long as she wasn't hurt?

Taro scrambled up as the demon entered the cave, eyes widening with sudden fright.

Ayama ran in front of him and grabbed hold of him pushing him to the wall of the mouth of the cave.
"Don't run into a demon battle fool!" She hissed, her red hair blowing in the wind and her irish accent standing out more than ever. "Have these past few days taught you nothing?! The girl will be safe so don't kill yourself for her sake!"

Elizabether tried to hide as the demon made its way towards her. Amaterasu jumped onto his back, sinking her fangs into its neck.

Yuki's ears perked up when he heard a woman scream. He knew those pipes.
he ran back to the cave.

Amaterasu was thrown against a wall but that didn't stop her. She jumped back onto the demon, ignoring the english girl who now sat praying. The demon however didn't. He swipped at her and he got her.
Her hand began to bleed, then her arm. Elizabeth held onto the bleeding apendage tight as she tried to move off.
Someone attacked the demon from the left, casuing him to stumble. Amaterasu knew that style. Yuki had finally decided to help.

Ayama swore under her breath, this was getting them no-where. "Stay here." She growled to the assasin before running in.
Within a few hits, all three of them had brought the demon down.
Amaterasu morphed back into her human form.
Yuki wiped the sweat off his brow.
Ayama panted.
"MUM?!" The two younger demons cried in unisen.
Ayama looked to her children. "Later." She told them before rushing over to the hurt girl. Ripping apart her shirt she made a bandage and tied the girls arm up quickly.
"I'm going to need my herbs."
Both children looked to the ruined garden.

Hikaru and Kuroshi were heading towards the caverns when they came across a familiar scent

hikaru's ears twitched

"Oh no!" said Kuroi "No you don't!"

Hikaru pointedly ignored him

"Don't even think-" Kuroi stopped

Hikaru was already gone

"Shit"
he ran off after her

Looking through her ever handy pouch Anei frowned as she found she was completely out of dried fish and would have to settle for rabbit.

"Stupid rabbit" she muttered under her breath, pulling out a knife to cut it into bite sized pieces for when the boy awoke, she also filled a curvy piece of bark up with water from the temporary ponds the rain had created.

Settling in next to the boy Anei started dividing her time between eating rabbit, watching the boy and her surroundings and making hair ornaments out of things she had found.

((Gawd! hurry up and post loz ya dork!!! *mutters*))

Shade rushed in, expression dangerous as he raced to Elizabeth's side. "How could you let this happen?!" He snapped, tearing open his bag. That's what she got if he did as he was told. A whole lot of good that did. He searched his bag for the appropriate herbs, having noticed the lack of garden behind them.

Taro stood by, feeling utterly useless as he silently watched Shade and Ayama.

Mori wasn't expecting the Kitsune to come charging out from the dense trees. Nor was he expecting her scent to be accompanying her. This was one detailed dream. He looked up blearily, moving into a sitting position as he gazed over to her.

"How could I-" Ayama scoffed. "If you didn't notice I was trying her ass so a Thank you would be rather nice!"

Elizabeth lookd to Shade. "It Hurts." She groaned.

"It'll be fine" He said to Elizabeth, hastily tying off the bandage. "And thank you, I suppose" He said grudgingly.

Ayama nodded. "Thats right. Now, who are you two?" Ayama asked. "And whats your relationship?"

Amaterasu looked away, trying not to laugh

"Master and apprentice, I'll have you know. I'm Shade. This is Elizabeth." He paused to look at her. "And you are?"

"Ayama. Mother to those two misfits." She indicated to them with her head. "And if your not together...." She grinned seductivly.

Elizabeth's face turned red.

Ayama smirked.
