Ayama jumped down.

Shade jumped down after her, face walking the line of composure. Anger wouldn't help him here. He was quiet, waiting to see what AYama did before making a move.

Ayama held her blades, willing them into silence before running on heer toes. She moved throug the demons, not waking one and not moving one until she arrived at the doors.
She entered.

Shade was close behind her. There was one tense second where a demon rolled over and flung out it's hand whilst sleeping, Shade very nearly stepped on it. He had frozen for a moment, but had managed to follow Ayama inside.

Taro sat against the outer wall of the cavern, waiting for Amaterasu or Yuki to return.

Ayama froze in the stone hall way. Two ways. One to the dunegn, one to Mentaro's throne room. Where would he keep the girl?

Amaterasu walked inside.

Shade gritted his teeth and waited for her to make a choice. "Why don't we split?" He suggested.

"Amaterasu!" Taro called, standing up. "Elizabeth was kidnapped."

Ayama pointed the way for him to go, the dungens. She ran off to mentaros 'throne' room.

Shade nodded and sped down the hallway. He stopped just before a corner, noting the guard at the barred door before him. It must be right through there. He waited and watched for a moment to see how alert the guard was. Considering he didn't notice Shade popping his head around the corner... Shade dashed forwards and killed him before he made a single noise. He lowered the guard to the floor.

Elizabeth hung her head low and brought her knees close to her body. She was filthy, her hair was everywehre and her dress was torn.
She was scared and cold and didn't know what was going to happen. She bit her lip and closed her eyes tight.

Shade ran in, small blade ready just in case. "Elizabeth!" He breathed, voice thick with relief. "Are you okay? Did they hurt you?". He asked quixkly, working on opening the cell door.

Elizabeth ran to the door and grabbed onto the bars. "Shade. I was worried you wouldn't come." She said.

"Of course I would!" He said, shaking his head and pausing to twist the knife in the lock. "I wouldn never leave you in a place like this." With a click, the door gave way and he swung it open, moving inside and sweeping her into his arms.

She wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, not wanting to let go. "I was so scared..."

Amaterasu swore. "Damn. Pathertic. Weak exscuse for a woman! Getting caught a time like tis."

Taro smiled bleakly. "What's done is done." He said. "Shade and Amaterasu are out to help her, so she should be fine, theoretically." He beamed suddenly. "Should we be worried?"

He hushed her, pulling her close. "It's okay. I'll get you out of here" He said, smiled softly, and started for the door.

"There are whispers from the underground." Amaterasu said, poking the fire. "An attack is about to happen."

Elizabeth wrapped her arm tightly around his weist.
A demon came from behind and swipped at Shade.

Taro's smile stayed put, though he didn't look quite as exuberant. "Ah, that may be a little problem" He said, opening his eyes.

Shade ducked just in time, bringing Elizabeth down with him. He released her so she was sitting and kicked the demon's legs out from under him.

Amaterasu looked at him. "Believe me. it is. Your japanese is good."

The demon fell with a roar that ecoed throughout the whole place, and even outside.
Elizabeth moved out of its way.

Mentaro shot up from his seat. "Someone's broken in!" He shouted, running to the window. "Someone's broken in!"

"Some-one has." Ayama said, walking around the outside of the room. "And they've come to talk to you."

Mentaro scowled. "Your back? Your back! Why? Why are you back? You were gone! GONE!"

Ayama laughed slightly. "I'm back." She said, walking to the middle of the room and pointing her blade at him. "Because you took someone from my party. and they belong to me."

Mentaro frowned. "GIRL! THE GIRL! I was going to question here!" He said, running to the door, Ayama stopped him with her blade. "Your not going anywhere yet."

"Why thank you. I try" He said, winking.

Shade cursed loudly - not point in quiet after that - and helped Elizabeth up. "Come on. Quickly! I think I saw another way out."

Amaterasu smiled slightly and stood up. "Can you fight?" She asked.

Elizabeth pulled on his arm. "Its too Dangerous Shade. All the creatures would have been awoken by now."

She lead him back to the middle of the room. "Listen carefully mentaro to the words I'm about to say. You are under my comand now. And you will do as I say."

"Why should I?" mentaro spat. "I have the three peices! Their mine! You have nothing."

Ayama smirked. "Think again. I have more than you think." She stepped arund him and held the blade closer to his neck as she pressed herself against him. "And I know you want it."

Mentaro's eyes widend.

"Think about it." Ayama whispered. "Think of all the things I can give you. All the power, all the demons, all the... Other tings."

Mentaro gulped as the blade pressed tighter.

"Do you agree?"

Mentaro nodded, but the blade was pressed tighter still.

"Say it." Ayama hissed.

"I agree." mentaro growled out and before he knew what happened. Ayama stepped around him, a promise to keep in touch as she walked out.

Taro paused. "Ah. I'm just a fool. Fool's aren't meant to be able to defend themselves," He said, grinning comically. "So... no. I think not."

"But we can't stay right here" He pointed out. "They'll be checking soon." He pulled her forwards with him and quickly made through the hallway, pulling into a deserted storage room where he could keep an eye on the hallway in case Ayama came past. "We can wait a short amount of tim. When they go through to check the dungeon, we can move."

"Would you like to learn?" Amaterasu asked.

Elizabeth looked behind her and her eyes widend. She pulled on Shades arm and hitched up her skirt, running forward.

He smiled but shook his head. "I'm able to hold someone off me, but I'm afraid fighting isn't something I could relish" He said, sitting back and hugging his knees to his chest.

Shade didn't need to look behind him to figure out the problem. He did anyway. It didn't change much, apart from the fact he'd lost about a second. He gave Elizabeth a light push, making sure he was behind her. If they got too close, she'd just have to run while he held them back.

"Too defend ones self is the greatest thing someone can do. Take up a sword and fight me." Amaterasu told him.

Elizabeth opened the front doors and stopped dead in her tracks as one by one the demons rose, ready to kill and ready to feed.
"Shade... She whispered.

"The corner. Stand in the corner!" He said, pulling her along and standing in front of her. There was no way to go back, the demons following them had come through the doors after them. To go forwards was practically written off. He cursed quietly, then paused to think, raising his blade. He cursed again. "Just stay behind me."

Taro shook his head. "I'll have to decline your offer." He said, looking suddenly weary.

"Shade." Elizabeth said softly, holding his arm. "Be careful... Please." She begged.

Amaterasu blinked a few times and smirked. "I will getyou one day. To remain defensless is to remain forever in someones debt in these lands."
