"Mentaru" Kanna whispered, holding up her mirror, the surface flashed and showed a fleet of English ships.

Mentaro stood up, trying to make himself seem important. "Yes, I see." he said, walking towards the girl. "And ahh... What. Are they?"

Mirror flashing once more only Mentaros face was left in the reflection.

Lifting her emotionless eyes up to gaze levelly at the demon, Kanna whispered softly, "Englishmen."

Once again the mirror flashed to show many men at arms pacing back and forth across the ships, going through their drills. The scene quickly changed to the woman that Mentaro's army had taken prisoner.

"Come to take what is theirs."

Mentaro nodded. "Isee." he closed his eyes and continued to nod. "I see. WAIT! I SEE!" He yelled, jumping, his arms flailing wildly. "I'm the only Army here! WE ATTACK!" he stormed away

Eyes flashing, Kanna suddenly straightened to give the demon an imperillous look.

"The humans come to slay your enemies. Wouldn't it be nice if they killed them first?"

Her voice had deepened significantly and she had taken on a cocky air.

mentaro looked thoughtful. "Kill the demoness, Free me from her control! YES!"

"Exactly" kanna chuckled, before her eyes rolled and she collapsed.

mentaro looked at her, he poked her with his foot before stepping over her.

Glaring at the girl infront of him mistrustfully, the boy opened his mouth to speak before promptly closing it again.

Anei, who was watching the boy right on back, smiled and waved.

Opening his mouth once again he huffed.

"brothers and Oniichan are going to come get me!"

"O-kay?" said Hikaru slowly "well that wasn't half weird..."

Kuroi shrugged "meh, not our problem"
she rolled her eyes at him
"What?! I'm not going after him!"

"fine" muttered hikaru and continued their course toward the caverns "you coming?"

Kuroi scowled, at some stage he'd have to come up with a way to make Hikaru leave if more of the brats turned up...

"...so they're aware of our prescence in their territories". Shio said, crossing his arms. Satori nodded and wove a hand in dismissal. "Good. Their turn." She smirked. Shio, the head of the panther militia crossed the room quickly.

She rose from the throne in the center of the room and walked to the table by the door, breifly examining a map of the Kitsune land, which her clan was just about to invade. She allowed herself a small smile. Too long, the foxes had enjoyed land that was not rightfully theirs and it was high time to reclaim it.

Amaterasu stood, it was nearing dark and the time for 'dinner' in the human words was arriving.
Picking up her bow and arrow (Just in case another attack happened) the demon girl picked up her fishing stick, and walked out.

Ayama sniffed around before walking in a circle. She headed towards her garden. WHistling a happy tune.

Yuki walked back inside and towards the fire, he was cold. Very cold. Like seriously freezing cold.
All in all, he needed warmth.

Elizabeth refused to look at herself in the bucket of water at her feet. She must look a mess and even if she refused the part of a lady, she was still brought up as one. The way she must look now was not a proper way for a lady to look. At least thats what her Nanny would have said.

Taro was using the small knife he'd pilfered from Shade's sleeve when he wasn't paying attention to carve a small cunk of wood. Shade hadn't noticed yet, just keeping an eye on the fire and debating what they could make of their situation.

This entire thing was a huge miscalculation, and although it wasn't about to turn nasty (in his opinion) it still had thrown him off. He needed to learn the language somehow. He shot Taro a glance and started in indignition when he noticed the tumbler had his knife.

Elizabeth carried the water over to the fire and put the bucket down. She glanced into the refelctive surface and squeeked. She looked away quickly nd tried to fix her birdsnest of a hairdo.

Yuki sat at the fire and tried to breathe some warmth into his hands. Didn't work, he tried plan two, pressing his palms as close to the fire as possible.

Shade chuckled. "It's not that... Well okay." He grinned. Taro rose an eyebrow.
"There's a brush in my bag. So long as you don't ask question, you can use it!" He said and, sniggering at his own expense, turned back to his carving.

Elizabeth nodded a bit and went through the fools bag. It took her awhile to find what she was after. Half made doll... Beads... juggling balls? Oh heres what she was after, a brush... a nice brush... A nice Ivory brush. How did he get this?
She cast a questioning glance at the fool before starting to brush her hair.

"FOOL!" Ayama yelled. "Get that english behind over here and help me de-weed."

"No questions!" Taro reminded Elizabeth cheerfully before dancing over to the gardens. Shade shook his head and... to excuse himself from the suddenly awkward silence, he turned to Yuki. "Are you okay? Are you ill?". He frowned, not knowing anything about these other people was horribly disorienting.

"We don't get Ill!" Ayama exclaimed from behind him before walking off again, still fuming about her garden.
Yuki let a small smirk fil his face. "She's right you know, well... we do, but its rare... at least for us. Ya hear?" Yuki stood and walked off, he wanted some items... from somewhere.

Elizabeth swore under her breath at the pain she was reciving from her hair. She swore again for swearing, then swore once more for swearing for swearing. Then she just swore because she couldn't be bothered anymore.

Shade clucked his tongue dissaprovingly at her. "Did you want a hand?" He asked.

Taro hummed to himself, mechenically tossing weeds over his shoulder into a neat little pile. "You don't get ill? Still get the same things as humans?"

"Would you? Elizabeth asked, handing Shade the brush.

"We get out own versions of sickness." Ayama said. "We're different. We have powers and other forms. We're meant to be in Hell."

"Sure. Hold still." Shade said, taking hold of her hair and gently running the brush through the matt in her hair. "Seawater doesn't agree with you, does it?"

"I'm sure it's not like that. You can't be condemned simply because you are what you are" He said with a small smile, shrugging his shoulders.

"Not really." Elizabeth smiled softly, leaning back onto his lap a little. "But I wouldn't say I hate the ocean."

Ayama just gave him a look. "Some would disagree."

"Hmmm..." Shade begged to differ, but remained silent as he worked the brush through the knots.

"I'm assuming 'some' are the nice, eloquent humans of this era?" He queried, sitting back on his heels.

"Just riding on it." She smirked a little and blushed, looking down at her legs.

"Pish." Ayama scoffed. "Try every Era young man."

Shade rose an eyebrow at her, and smirked. "I see."

"Ha! I suppose you're right. Brainless little ants". He grinned.
