Shamei bowed yet again and offered also the chained bracelet and necklet she had used earlier for, "Keeping her on a tight leash, or leaving her alone". Shortly after that, she made her leave of hikaru and the priestess, beaminig as she returned to her rooms to continue studying how it could be used.

Yuni snuck a look at the Kitsune and her eyes widened. The same Hikaru she had met before. the very same one. She paled and bowed befitting to a royal from a slave, unsure of how to act now.

"What is your name Miko?" Hikaru asked

Yuni froze, struck. Shamei had entirely shunned the idea of yuni having a name at all.
"Y-Yuni, hikaru-hime" She said, bowing again. "..."

Yuni cringed away from the thought and simply waited for an order. Shamei had expressed before that she should be nothing more than a power reserve, to serve and follow her master in case they had a need of her. Her eyes welled suddenly and she bowed her head to conceal that. Unless she had just impressed Shamei, being anything but proud got her into trouble.

Hikaru frowned slightly, "Come on Yuni-san, we best be leaving"

Hikaru lead Yuni to her quaters
"Yuni?" Hikaru asked once they were inside "how did you come to be here?"
Hikaru was puzzled, if she was the same Miko from what seemed like an age ago.
then why was she here and how did Shamei get her claws on her?

Ayama nodded and sat down.

"I love you." Elizabeth whispered through her bars

"I love you too." Shade responded, before falling into silence when the already irritated and scolded guard shot him a warning glare before strolling off to run a routine check of the cells. Shade despairingly tested his strength against the manacless to no avail.

Shade eventually resigned himself to his frayed nerves, becoming horribly sick of not knowing what was going to happen to them. His frusteration was further increased by his inability to understand everything the guards murmured to each other on the way past. It was intolerable. He scowled. his expression suddenly changed when he remembered something he hadn't adressed in his asessment of his cell.

"Elizabeth. Has the fool woken up yet?" He inquired quietly. They needed to be able to set up a plan to follow if one of them got out... or if something extreme happened. It would be useful to be able to relay messages somehow, and as much as it got on his nerves sometimes, the fool's sharp tongue could get messages across whilst making some other suffer as a distraction. Not only that, but he was the only one in their line of sight that could speak japanese. If it werent for him as a go-between, they would have no way of interacting with Amaterasu.

"I was travelling with... a panther demon. Hikaru-hime" She responded carefully, obviously struggling with her fear conducted by the enchanted collar. She swayed where she stood, eyes still glued to the respectful position of the floor at Hikaru's feet. Weariness from the continuous strain of using her powers was beginning to take it's toll on her. She was tired, drained, lonely, threatened and now captivated in this strange fortess with not even a glimpse of her friend. Needless to say, she was miserable. not to mention even the idea of rebelling was something her entire being now shied away from. Shamei's treatment was something she wouldn't quickly foget. Especially if Hikaru agreed with her methods.

Elizabeth nodded. "But he's in seiver pain. I'm worried if he doesn't get some sort of proper treatment soon he may die..." She adde dthe last part softly. From what she heard, broken ribs could puncture the lungs and cause bleeding internaly. Thus, the person drowning on their own blood.

Shade came to the same conclusions. "His chest, see if there's any bruising." He said quickly, racking his brain. really, therre wasn't much they could do if it was internal bleeding; except from keep him from further injury until it passed. that would be risky too.

Elizabeth crept back over to the fool. "I'm going to lift your shirt ok?" She said softly before lifting his shirt up slowly.

Taro woke slightly and tried to push her away, unsucessfully. his chest was a landscape of colours ranging from black to red. "Leave it" He murmured, eyes pained as he looked up at Elizabeth. Shade waited, tugging at his chains again.

Elizabeths eyes widend as she gasped, her hands moving over his chest bit never quite touching it. "How have you remained so silent..."

(Just so you know I'm seriously pissed about the way Ama went down so effotlessly, I'm seriously annoyed. I'm only using her because it needs to be so so the story line continued. So, net time your on mandy, can we have a take two?))

Amaterasu hissed and tugged at her chains voilently, letting lose a serious of colourful words to the guards around.

Ayama stood up. "Anyway, though this catch up was nice I must be off, people to see, places to break into. You know the drill."

Yuki was limping, but he was walking again. "Sada." he said, looking to his old friend. "How are we going to save the others?"

"We break in, of course!" Sadaharu said simply, sure of himself. he then laughed. "We'll go back to Satori now. We're almost there actually. then we'll regroup and.. I suppose, start planning this out. The faster the better." The healer shot Yuki a reproachful look, but, noting Sadaharu's indifference to Yuki's walking, decided not to comment.

"I said it hurt, didn't I?" He asked wearily, grasping her wrist and making sure to move her hand from his chest. "There's no point complaining about it." He said, voice wavering.

Satori nodded wordlessly. "I won't be moving yet, so you know."

Yuki shook his head. "Alright, lead the way."

"Oh Fool..." Elizabeth cooed softly, placing his shirt back down gently.

Ayama shrugged and opene dthe tent to leave

"that I am." he breathed in agreement, wincing when the light fabric once again touched his skin. "Tell Shade to stop thinking before he gets a migrane" He added with a small smirk before closing his eyes again, remaining awake.

"I'll see you around' Satori said. "Maybe you'll run into Sadaharu."

"Stop thinking Shade. Before you get a migrane." Elizabeth told him, smirking lightly, her hand moving through the fools hair.

Shade snapped out of his reverie, glancing over to Elizabeth. "Sorry? Is he okay then?" He asked, mis-interpreting the smirk. Before Elizabeth could reply, the burly guard that had been trying to ignore their conversation lost it. He twisted the key in Elizabeth's cell and threw the door wide.

Taro instantly tried to sit up, but the guard knocked him out of the way, ignoring his feeble attempts at keeping Elizabeth from harm. Taro fell with a small cry and then lay still. Shade strained against his bonds, mouth twisted in a snarl of fury and disgust.
"Get away from her!" He roared as the guard turned on Elizabeth. the guard ignored him, smirking widely when he realized how important this female was to the other human. He lashed out at her, kicking her against the stone wall before reaching down and taking hold of her neck.

Elizabeth held onto the wriest of the man who had her around the neck with one hand. She struggled for air but most of all she struggled to tell where she was.
The blow hurt, hurt more than anything she had felt today. She opened one eye and looked up at the guard.

He scowled at this and slammed her against the wall, tightening his grip on on throat. He scoffed when he saw how much that had hurt her and watched, smiling lightly as he waited to see how long she could last without air. That would teach her to save her breath in future.

Shade vented his horror by pelting obscenities at the guard, cursing him as he fought against the meal chains. Elizabeth had done nothing to warrant this!

Elizabeth clawed at the guards hands, her eyes wide.

He waited until she was nearly unable to fight back before letting her slide down the wall. He kicked her with his metal capped boot and made sure that she wasn't about to get back up by adding another few kicks, before stalking from the cell, looking rather smug. Finally. Silcence.

Elizabeths face was scrunched up as she held her stomach, her mouth left open in a silent scream. She couldn't move, didn't want to.
All she heard was Amaterasu shouting in Japanese at the guard.

Shade ranted furiously, wishing desperately for both his healing supplies and his cache of poisons. The guard retorted sharply in Japanese before laughing and walking away, leaving their side of the corridor empty. Once the guard was gone, Shade called out to Elizabeth and the fool, hoping one of them would move.

Elizabeth let out a pain cry as she tried to move onto her hands and knees, blood pouring from her mouth. She let herself fall back to the ground, she sucked ehr lips in and tried her hardest to keep the tears from falling.
