Back to ze past

Taro painstakingly rose from the floor and half crawled to her side, face frozen in a mask of concern. He leaned over her, gently touching her shoulder and carefully pulling her head onto his lap, heedless of the blood trickling from her mouth. He bowed his head as the pain of sitting twisted through his chest but did not move. He moved her hair back from her face.

"Oh god it hurts...." Elizabeth whispered, tears forming in the corner of her eyes. "Oh lord..."

He murmured comforting nothings, knowing how she felt. "It'll be fine now." He whispered softly, brushing away a stray tear running down her cheek. His fingers trembled, and he knew how much this was costing him, but she was hurt, and had been a constant friend to him in court. It was a small thing to return a favour.

Elizabeth wretched forward as a coughing fit over took her, spilling blood all over the floor.
She curled into a ball and refused to move. It didn't hurt when she was still.

Taro's eyebrows furrowed in mortified worry. He could do nothing but try and comfort her, and that made him feel utterly useless. He forced his trembling hands to rip a small piece of cloth from his shirt and dabbed at her bloodied lips. There was nothing else he could think to do. He had been beaten badly before, and normally just spent the recovery time hiding in one of the many secret hallways. He didn't really know how to make it more bearable, and was starting to grow more concerned by the second about Elizabeth.

However, for all of this, he had well and truly used up his energy store, and the pain spreading like poisine through his chest was blurring his vision once more. In his last attempt to make elizabeth more comfortable, he managed to remove the remainder of his already tattered shirt and folded it, gently tucking it under her head as a makeshift pillow.

Elizabeth wanted to tell him to stop, to tell him that he was hurt too. But when she opened her mouth, all that came out was a broken sob.

He painfully lowered himself to the floor beside her and kept close, so as to be nearby if she needed him. He shivered when his bare skin came in contact with the cool stones, but within a few moments was already drifting between wakefulness and the edges of blissful unconsciousness. Pain laced through his chest again and he cringed, taking a sharp breath. His lungs seemed to burst in agony and he slipped into unconsciousness with a small gasp.

Elizabeth reached out and gently touched him back before falling into a state like sleep but not, sleep didn't happen as fast as this.

Hikaru frowned
"I'll have someone bring a bed in for you"
She took the bracelet from her wrist and put it in a draw
"Stay here until i come back for you, yes?"

"Yes, Hikaru-hime" She said and pretty much sank down to her knees against the wall, burtying her head in her hands.

((jess, Ama isn't excactly all powerful so if its 37 on one i doubt she's gonna last long
i just didn't want her to get any further. but i will change it soon. gomen))

Hikaru nodded and left the room and went back to the prison
determined not to get side tracked this time.

she spoke breifly to the Kitsune in charge and procceded to the cells

Shade was still sitting where his manacles had placed him. He managed to completely ignore the glares the guard outside his cell sent him, probably blames me for his short lunch break. He mused irritably. He was near depserate for a healer to look at Elizabeth, but all of his attempts at getting attention had gained him nothing but venemous glares.

Hikaru crouched down so as to look him in the eyes

"soo, you speak english huh?"

Shade looked morbidly amused. "I thought that had already been established." He pointed out dryly.

Hikaeru rasied an eyebrow
"And due to that horrible accent you have Its safe to say your english too?"

Shade frowned. What was she doing? Brandying words with a prisoner? Or just trying to make him slip up somewhere.
"Enough of this. What do you want from us? We have done nothing!"

((She isnt all powerful but neither is Hikaru. She would have lasted longer then 1.6 seconds. The time it took her to have her hair pulled and become paralysed upon the ground.))

"Understand this Hikaru." Amaterasu spoke with such venom in her voice. "when I get out of here I'll make you feel such pain your heart will burst and that jewel will be crushed."

Hikaru turned to Amaterasu ,smiling she patted her cheast where the kuroraka used to be
"too late Ama, its gone! no more curse for me!" she said cheerfully
she held up a small white/orange sphere about the size on a maderin
"I gots one of these like everyone else now!" she laughed and zapped Ama with the orb

((Its ok, I just thought of more of a battle before going down.))

Amaterasu hissed angrily. "Don't think what your doing will go unpunshied. Yuki will come for us, so will Ma!"

Hikaru rolled her eyes
"I'm so fucking terrified, and I'm not the one in charge here! I'm just the messenger!"

((So can we go back and chage it? Like we can redo it now. Fair fight, no I did, their unconcious. Pucnhes thrown, choice of hit. No godplay. Good idea?))

"And yet your the one who has turn back on your friends. Hurt your friends. Smirking. Being the person who's all princess like. You are nothing more than a hopless wannabe freak." Amaterasu snarled. "No wonder everyone left you."

something inside Hikaru's heart died with Ama's words though she didn't show it
"I am who I have to be, my clan need me, my brothers need me. I'm just keeping my promises
and if i could change this i would. They had every right to leave me after all the trouble i caused.
I do not blame them..."
