Sekkou smirked around his leg of deer as Takai primily picked the meat off of his bone before eating it.

"Your such a ponce" he chuckled, staring at his friend,

"Better than a gluttonous pig such as yourself" He replied, with a tinge of an accent, causing the other brows to rise.

"Did you just make a joke? Where's the hellfire? End of the world!?"

Takai just snorted softly and guestured towards the map layed infront of him.

"They say a group of demons and a human child was spotted along this ridge barely a day ago"

Sobering up, Sekkou stared intently at the map before staring up at his partner, "Think it's him?"

Sighing softly the interlectial pulled his lover close, "I hope so"

Yuki jumped onto a log and growled at the demon below him.

Mentaro gave a cry and flew bakwards. he did a few moves with his stick.

"Hey Anei!" Yuki laughed, jumping down. "I found a lost Kitty."

Giggling Anei waved at the rat infront of her, "Hey Yukes, long time no see!"

"Anei?" At the questioning voice Anei whipped around to stare at the demon infront of her, "Z-Zet?"

Yuki put his arm around Anei's shoulders. "Use little words.He seems to have lost his memory, and become sane."

Mouth forming an understanding 'oh' Anei stared at her brother, "So...you don't remember anything?"

Shaking his head slightly, Zetsubou shrugged his shoulders, "I remember you and some others being captured by the panthers....then nothing" Frowning slightly Zetsubou shifted his attention to Yuki, "And what do you mean sane?"

"Just letting her know you havn't gone... Mad." Yuki grinned. "good sane boy."

Kaoru gave Sadaku some candy for her to share with the boys

Sadaku thanked him and rushed off, making sure to share it equally.

Kaoru smiled and walked over to the window and stared out at the sceanery beyond

"Sir." Sadaku asked, placing a peice of candy in her mouth. "Why are you sad?"

Kaoru gave the child a small smile
"I'm alright, just thinking about some things that are hard"

"Like the time ma put the clothes in the red dye insted of the purple ad had to redye and fix everything? That was hard." Sadaku nodded.

he grinned and patted her on the head
"Kind of like that"

Sadaku rolled her eyes. Why did adults instst on patting her head? She smiled to Kaoru. "Mummy's working at home alone right now." She skipped off.

Kaoru spoke to a servent, asking for someone to mind the children and wandered down into the village

Hotaru stood and cracked her back, clothes and sheets hanging all around her.

Sadaharu sat slumped against the wall by Yuki's unoccupied bed, face buried in his hands. Yuki had finally awoken, and he had done everything wrong. Everything. And with the way things had gone, it was no wonder that Yuki hadn't wanted to see him, speak to him. He gave a shuddering sigh and dropped his hands, bowing his head and letting his silvery hair curtain his face. With Zetsubou. Something icy in his chest twisted and he drew his knees up against his torso, wrapping his arms around them and resting his cheek on a knee.

Yuki smiled and kissed Anei on the cheek. "I'll be back later, some things I have to wrap up back at home."

With a wink to Zetsubou the rat broke into a run and headed back towards Sadaharu. He could scense him.

It lead him back to the room he had awaken in. He opened the door slowly. "Sad?"

Hikaru had just finished sparring with Kuroi and was waiting for him to return from the river with the water

Takeo walked into their camp, with a very miserable looking Momiji in tow
"Look what I found wanderin' a'bout"

Hikaru ran over to her daughter and crouched in front of her.
"You went into the village didn't you?"

Momiji nodded but didn't look at her mother

Hikaru pulled her into a tight hug
"I'm sorry sweetie, I know how you feel. lets get you all cleaned up yeah?"
she wiped some of the blood from the girls face and lead her down to the river to tend to her cuts.

Kaoru shifted into a fox and trotted over to Hotaru
Twineing himself around her legs happily

Hotaru looked down and smiled softly. She lifted the fox into her arms. "And hello to you little guy." She scratched under his chin.

Kaoru licked her cheek
"Mornin' Hotaru"

Hotaru looked shocked and moved the Fox from her face. "And it talks." She placed it down.

Sadaharu's head snapped up, blinking tears from his eyes and quickly standing up, laughing miserably as he pulled his hair out of his face. "Yuki, y-you're back."
