"I'm pretty happy about being back too." Yuki grinned. "Because this is better than sleeping."

Takeo watched Taro feed from his spot leaning against a tree with morbid curiosity and disgust.
"Thats just gross!" he said shaking his head
"I don't see why you do it! I mean there's a village right over there! and panther blood is gross!!! bluuagghh!"

Taro rose his head and glanced over at the Kitsune. "Well... The idea of-" He turned Mori's arm in his hands and the panther's eyes flicked over to him. Taro grimaced. "I'm not at all in control if I'm.. If i need anything. It's not very pretty."

"Control issues? yeah we all get 'um. 's not exactly what I'd do but each to his own i guess"
he shrugged, put his hands behind his head and leaned back against the tree

Taro smiled vaguely as he re-wrapped Mori's arm. "Oi, when's that mate of yours coming back?" Mori asked. "Any of us really need to rest yet? Or was that break sufficient?" He asked Hikaru.

Taro cossed his legs, blonde tresses falling over his eyes as he traced a pattern into the dirt.

Hikaru nodded more to herself than Mori, looking slightly worried
"Takeo?" she said, standing

"mm?"

"Wake Momiji, I'm going to find him"
she shifted into her fox form and ran off into the trees

Takeo sighed and pulled himself up,
gently lifting Momiji from the branch she was sprawled across

"I hope Kuro-myuu isn't angry." Taro said with a small smirk. "He needs to... lighten up a little." He grinned and Mori sighed, shaking his head. "We're just looking for Etsuko, if you get on that murderous demon's bad side, I'm gonna-"
"Hush Mori-neko-chan, you're not very polite." Taro tapped his nose and shook his head. Mori just snorted and stood up, pulling his sleeve over his arm and looking around.

Takeo rolled his eyes
"I'd lay off the nicknames for now if i were you.
Kuroi's not in the best moods as of late.
some sort of catastrophy in Karasu clan."

Momiji yawned and stretched her wings

Hikaru ran out of the trees and shifted back into demon form
Kuroi matirialised next to her
"Alright lets get the heck out of here"

Mori nodded and then they set off again, travelling for the day. Mori was just about to consider turning back, to admit that she was long gone, when the scent of blood struck his nostrils. He glanced sidelong at Taro who smiled.

"Hikaru, you smell that?" He asked quickly. "Should we check it out?"

Hikaru's ears pricked up "the hell i do!"
she loosed her sword in its sheathe
"Kuroi scout ahead, we'll follow"

he nodded and flew off in the direction of the scent

Hikaru picked up the pace

Her vision wavered in and out of focus as she held her bloodied hands out before her eyes. Yuni shook her head and staggered upright, looking around her with wide eyes. Fog rolled around her ankles, just concealing the bodies scattered around the village, small children and their parents alike; eyes wide and staring, glazed over in death.

She took a sharp breath and wheeled around, panic hazing her mind. The village was very nearly rubble, some houses reduced to the materials used to make them whilst others stood seemingly untouched. No demon stood neaby, no explanation for what had happened. It was only after she had desperately ran around the village, trying to see if there was anyone alive, anyone at all, that she found her head lighteneing. She touched a hand to her side and felt warm sticky blood on her fingers. She sank to her knees, black tresses cascading down her back.

How did this happen?

"Next time, you've got to promise to speak up." He said with a laugh. "Let's not go for an encore."

Yuki laughed. "Alright, I swear." he held up his pinky.

Kuroi landed infront of the Miko
"Yuni? What the hell happened here? are you alright?"

(( *blinks* ))

"Hush little kitten, don't you cry. The rat will be there with a lullaby. And when that rats voice is silenced, the sights he shows you will make you smile. Hush sweet kitten, don't you weep. The rat will be there to help you sleep. And what if that rat was taken and twisted? Then the little kitten would cry with a silenced lullaby and he would weep. Hush pretty kitten, that rat is there. The rat who is your protecter and love. Would you kill again for him?"

The girl smirked down at the sight as she spoke. Herr fingers moved, almost danced as birds flew about her head. She rose her hand and lifted the birds higher. The only things that fell were their feathers when she snapped her hand back down.

She smiled and swung her legs over the branches. "Don't worry my sweet, Bloody baby. A curse is a curse. I myself am cursed to bring the cruse I lay upon you around. We will meet soon enough. But until then..." She blew him a kiss and the cherry blossums flew towards Sadaharu. They incircled him.

"Goodnight my sweet prince." She jumped from the tree and disapeared.

Naoki poked the ground sadly. The stick was good for drawing, but he didn't want to go. Everything he had was here after all.

Someone bent down infront of him and Naoki looked up quickly. He felt soothed by the face and the smile, no matter how creepy it was. "I'm not ment to talk to strangers." he muttered.

The girl smiled softly. "Oh but I'm not a stranger. We're family. You and I. Siblings. From your mothers side. Don't tell me your father never mentioned me."

Naoki shook his head. "Daddy doesn't like to mention mummy..."

The girl tuttered softly. "That wont do will it? But I have an Idea." She smiled softly. "You see, Your daddy has something of mine, of our mothers. I want to get it back. Do you know how?"

Naoki shook his head. "All of Mummy's stuff is in Daddy's room and he doesn't let me touch it."

The girl smiled softly. "And who could get into the room?"

Naoki looked away and lent up to whisper. "He has a girlfriend."

"Does he now?" The girl asked shocked. "And what does she look like?"

Naoki looked away and bit his lip before he discribedHoatru.

the girl grinned. "Like this?"She movedherhand down her face slowly.

Naoki's eyes widened. "Wha?" he laughed and clapped. "Magic?! You can do magic?!"

"Our little secret." The girl said, placing a finger to her lips. "Why don't you keep playing? I have a present for you." She handed him a stone and at once, the stone shifted and jumped from the boys hands.
It lay on the ground and in three seconds, turned into Naoki himself.

Naoki laughed. "Wanna play?" he asked. The shadow Naoki nodded.

The girl, who was now Hotaru stood slowly and ruffled Naoki's hair. "I'll see you soon. Remember, hush now."

naoki nodded and Hotaru entered the house.

Kaoru looked up as 'Hotaru' walked in
"Hotaru-san? what brings you here?" he asked heavy hearted

Hotaru tilted her head. A fight perphaps? She smiled softly and walked up to Kaoru. She smirked and bit her bottom lip. "I've been stupid. I really have. Forgive me?"

Kaoru looked confused
"Of course! there is nothing to forgive, the fault was mine"

Hotaru smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Now, while the children are occupied, why don't you and I..." She lent up to whisper into his ear. "Go into your room."

Kaoru blinked
"H-Have you changed your mind? will you accept my proposal?"

Hotaru smiled. "Of course. I've thought about it and realized. I was being silly."

Damn, how hard was it to get into the boys room?
